. . . upon which to feast our eyes. A gorgeous wedding dress!

These images via @whatgrandmawore on Twitter: “A trim of orange blossom runs around the bertha of this 1856-59 dress . . . with large silk bows hanging from the shoulders. The bodice ends at a sharp point, nipping in the waist and emphasizing the skirt. Take a look at the lacing on the bodice.”
