Speaking of birds (as I did here yesterday, although in a slightly different context), we have a houseguest.
She’s built her nest on our front porch. Which means, of course, that we don’t turn on the light at night, and in our entry hall we glance cautiously out the window to see if she’s there. And if she is, respectfully we tiptoe past. After all, she’s got an important job to do. :)
